Dental Veneers
Porcelain veneers and crowns offer a great option for increasing the beauty of your smile. Outside of the obvious cosmetic benefits, they can also help protect and strengthen your teeth while having the added benefit of resisting tooth discoloration from coffee, tea or cigarette smoke.
At Brandon Dental Care, we can help answer questions you might have about veneers and crowns and talk to you about whether or not you would be a good candidate for this procedure.

What are Porcelain Veneers?
Veneers are thin layers of tooth-colored material (often porcelain) that can be bonded to your teeth to change their shape, size, alignment, or color. They are a good option for teeth that have undesirable color or poor shapes and contours.
When applying veneers, your natural teeth stay largely intact, with only a small amount of enamel removed from your teeth in order to attach the porcelain veneer correctly. Porcelain veneers can repair chips and cracks, hide discoloration, and straighten crooked teeth. Importantly, veneers look completely natural, giving you a beautifully aligned and bright smile.
What are Porcelain Crowns?
A crown is a tooth shaped “cap” that fits over a tooth. These crowns fit over your natural teeth like jackets and can make teeth stronger and less susceptible to damage. At the same time, porcelain crowns can be used to improve the appearance of the teeth by reshaping them, changing their alignment, and making them whiter. By using porcelain crowns, your smile will be stronger and healthier while still looking natural and beautiful.
